Poem: The Bountiful Stream

Two idle fishermen sitting by a river,
Comment on the creatures caught in the stream.
One raises his finger and boldly proclaims,
"This water is warm! The fish contentedly swim!"
The other sneers in disgust,
"This water is cold! Look how they quiver so!"
As the two men bicker
Wasting their words
Two children play downstream
Splashing each other in delight.
